Keep victim under observation.
2.After inhalation : Move to fresh air. Oxygen or artificial respiration if needed.
Get immediate medical attention.
3.After skin contact : Immediately flush skin with plenty of water. Remove and
isolate contaminated clothing and shoes. If irritation persists,
get medical attention immediately. For minor skin contact,
avoid spreading material on unaffected skin.
4.After eye contact : Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15
minutes. Assure adequate flushing of the eyes by separating
the eyelids with fingers. Get medical attention immediately.
5.After ingestion : Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Rinse
mouth with water. Consult a physician.
6.Most important symptoms/effects,acute and delayed : Symptoms of systemic copper poisoning may include: capillary damage, headache, cold sweat, weak pulse, and kidney and liver damage, central nervous system excitation followed by depression, jaundice, convulsions, paralysis, and coma. Death may occur from shock or renal failure. Chronic copper poisoning is typified by hepatic cirrhosis, brain damage and demyelination, kidney defects, and copper deposition in the cornea as exemplified by humans with Wilson's disease. It has also been reported that copper poisoning has lead to hemolytic
anemia and accelerates arteriosclerosis. To the best of our knowledge, the chemical, physical, and toxicological properties have not been thoroughly investigated.

Production method

Copper powder oxidation method. Reaction equation:

4Cu+O2→2Cu2O

2Cu2O+2O2→4CuO

CuO+H2SO4→CuSO4+H2O

CuSO4+Fe→FeSO4+Cu↓

2Cu+O2→ 2CuO

Operation method:
Copper powder oxidation method takes copper ash and copper slag as raw materials, which are roasted and heated with gas for preliminary oxidation to remove water and organic impurities in raw materials. The generated primary oxide is cooled naturally, crushed and then subjected to secondary oxidation to obtain crude copper oxide. The crude copper oxide is added into the reactor pre loaded with 1:1 sulfuric acid. Reaction under heating and stirring until the relative density of the liquid is twice the original and the pH value is 2 ~ 3, which is the end point of the reaction and generates copper sulfate solution. After the solution is left to stand for clarification, add iron shavings under the condition of heating and stirring to replace copper, and then wash with hot water until there is no sulfate and iron. After centrifugation, drying, oxidizing and roasting at 450 ℃ for 8h, cooling, crushing to 100 mesh, and then oxidizing in an oxidation furnace to prepare copper oxide powder.
